Children in Year 3 challenged themselves with many aspects of maths through games and activities prepared by Mrs Anderson. 

Pupils used place value counters and mirrors to create Magic Money Machines, they solved Magic Number Squares (where all lines must total 15). They used Numicon to build a scene and then calculated the value of their design and used Numicon to explore symmetry.

The badges they designed are to encourage other people to talk to them about maths - Ask me About My Number. The numbers they chose had significance for them, lots of birthdays and then they found out what their numbers were divisible by and other facts.
