Our School Council is made up of representatives from each class from Year 2 to Year 6. These pupils are democratically elected by their class peers in September, and they stay in post for a whole academic year. the meetings are chaired with support by the two Year 6 representatives. 

They have responsibility for being the voice of the pupils. They meet once a month and discuss a range of topics, and they are consulted on many changes that affect them in school.

Some of the topics they have been involved with have been:

• How we spend our charity money
• Renewing books for the reading scheme and library
• How to make the playground safer
• Developing the school personal development offer

During the Governors visits to the school, the School Council represented pupil views on Behaviour, ICT and Reading, and they shared their ideas on how these areas could be improved.
