Children's Mental Health Week

This week has been Children's Mental Health Week and the theme has been Growing Together.

Across the week, pupils at St Felix have been thinking about their wellbeing and what makes them feel positive. They have used these ideas to create vines of wellbeing taking inspiration from Jesus' words in John 15 - I am the Vine and you are the branches. These have all been combined to create our special St Felix Forest of Wellbeing where you are surrounded by love and things that make you smile and we are all growing together.

This week has had a perfect finish with our Dare to Different Day organised by the HSA and celebrating our uniqueness. The pupils changed their clothes, their hair, their nails, their drinks and their snacks for a day and Riddell Class led a whole school assembly to recognise God made us all to be just the person we are and nobody can be you as well as you can.
