Children at St Felix love to sing and they sang with gusto today to one of their favourite hymns - Laudato Si.

This hymn opened our service and set the tone for both the joy the children bring to their celebrations and the consideration they show to others. Laudato Si is the title of a papal encyclical and reminds us all of the beauty of creation and our responsibility to look after it for ourselves and as our common home.

It is a common home we share with our brothers and sisters and this was demonstrated beautifully today by the generosity of the donations for Reach Foodbank in Haverhill. We collected 346 items and these will be collected on Monday.
