EYFS visit to the library

EYFS kept their promise to work with the library throughout this school year.

Accompanied by adults, twenty-nine pupils of Butterworth Class set off to walk to the library this morning and the weather was kind.

When they arrived, they were introduced to the library by the librarian and told how to join. She showed them how to locate books suitable for their age group. They had time to explore the library and share books with their friends. The session finished with a story.

The pupils really enjoyed the visit. Blossom said, "I love looking at books."

Oliver was impressed that they had "T-Rex books!"

For some pupils it was their first visit, but they were keen to visit again.
