St. Felix Catholic School

St. Felix
Catholic School

Inspections

The school was inspected on 17th and 18th of November 2022. Whilst the outcome was not as we hoped, the inspectors recognised the strengths of St Felix.

Pupils enjoy coming to school. They make friends and like their teachers.

There is a strong sense of community in this school, underpinned by their Catholic values. Pupils are taught how to care for other people. They demonstrate kindness and a compassion for each other.
Pupils respond positively to the leaders high expectations of their behaviour. Pupils are polite and show good manners. They behave well in lessons and when moving around the school. There is a calm and orderly atmosphere in the school, with strong relationships between staff and pupils.

The school is now following a Post Ofsted Action Plan to address the six main concerns raised by the Ofsted report. The school's progress is overseen by the Trust through the Rapid Improvement Board who meet monthly to offer support and ensure improvements are rapid and sustainable.

The monthly school newsletter provides a regular update on progress.
